Our Story

Hello! My name is Larry Allen.

The idea for Legacy Safe came about while researching my family's genealogy. I realized that I knew very little about my ancestors' lives and it left a void in my life that can’t be filled. I wanted to leave something permanent about me for my descendants.

I decided to laser-engrave my life story and legacy onto aluminum panels and store them in a small safe. This would ensure they wouldn’t easily be lost or destroyed like paper records, USB drives, and information on the internet. Nor would they become obsolete like CDs, 8-track tapes, and VHS recordings.

My son Chris and I decided to create My Legacy Safe as a way to help others recall, record, and pass on their life story and legacy. We believe everyone's life story is important and their life and memories should be recorded and preserved. By storing your legacy in a Legacy Safe, you can ensure that your descendants will always have something tangible about you to hold onto and remember you by.
